Have you ever
played a Banana Piano? What would you do with a Raspberry Pi?
Would you like to experiment with some littleBits?
The E-Learning Environments Development team are looking to recruit students from any curriculum area/programme for a small project starting after the Easter break. This mini-project aims to bring staff and students together in an informal setting to create something in the spirit of the maker movement.
If you have a playful mindset and enjoy creating things by combining all kinds of materials with technology, this project will be of interest to you. We are planning fortnightly meetups throughout the summer term to share our ideas and learn from each other. Some basic kits, including Raspberry Pi and Makey Makey boards, will be provided to get everyone started. Please note: neither programming nor soldering or knitting skills are required to join this project.
What would you create? To be part of this adventure, all you need to do is let us know what you would like to create and why you should be part of the group. Please send your ideas to j.de...@ucl.ac.uk. Don’t forget to include your full name and UCL email address in the application email.
Applications deadline: 28th March, midday.
