The only message that went to the Forum were the ones of Puven and of Kalimujiso, and I summarize what the other actors announced:
1.Florian Steinberg announced that the Asian Development Bank is currently preparing its new Urban Operations Plan for Asia and The Pacific that will chart out three main thrusts of our future urban work.
This will focus on Competitive Cities, Inclusive Cities and Green Cities.
- This is coinciding with the UCLG committee findings in Asia, that the agenda on City Development strategy in Asia should take up the lessons form economic oriented planning and get inclusion and environment more on board.
2.Professor Hambleton underlines the importance of leadership, and his 3 realms of leadership are taken up in the policy paper. He will post some information later today
3. Michelle Gauthier form the Word food Organization is keen to get involved in the forum her network, as This is a unique opportunity given to promote the Greening of Urban Agenda and Highest Forum of Mayors with Agriculture, Trees and Forests for Food Security.
4. Further, we had responses form 4 networks: Euro European research network, AERYC, ReCS, the Italian network on strategic planning , Metropolis Megaciudades, that have forwarded the message in order to involve members.
Some interesting information was send as link to interesting experiences (videos) on inclusive local development by the PROLOGO network(in spanish) that explain experiences of participatory planning :

Los mensajes que pudieron entrar al forum eran de Kalumijiso Banda y de Puven Aikkiah, por eso resumo lo que dijeron las otras personas:
1.Florian Steinberg anuncio que el Banco Asiático, ADB esta preparando el plan operativo urbano para Aisa y Pacifico lo cual trabaja grandes ilineas de trabajo: El focus sera la ciudad competitiva, la ciudad inclusiva, la ciudad verde
.
- Eso coincide con lo que subrayo el comité de CGLU en Asia, que la agenda de Planificación estratégica en Asia debe transferir lecciones de una orientación económica y tratar mas inclusión y medio ambiente
2.Professor Hambleton subraya a importancia de liderazgo, y sus 3 áreas de liderazgo son referenciados en el policy paper de CGOU
El anuncio poner información mas tarde el día de hoy.
3. Michelle Gauthier de la FAO es interesada en envolver su red en el forum, porque ve la oportunidad de promocionar la agenda urbana mas verde y buscar un forum con alcaldes sobre agricultura urbana, arborización, bosques para asegurar alimentación
4. Hemos recibido respuestas de 4 redes: Euro red de investigación urbana Europa, AERYC, ReCS, la red italiana de planificación estratégica , Metrópolis Megaciudades, que han enviado el mensaje a sus miembros para envolver.
