Two demonstrations on Monday need support:

Protest at Alfie and Zak's retrial - 9am, Monday, Woolwich Crown Court

Aflie was beaten almost to death by the police on 9 December 2010, the day of the tuition fees vote, then charged with violent disorder, along with Zak King. UK protest against victimisation of Bob Carnegie - 1pm, Monday, Broadgate Tower, Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3UG

From August to October 2012, workers at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, were involved in a successful community protest  and strike against sub-contracting and the undermining of union labour by construction companies. Long-standing Australian union activist Bob Carnegie was involved in organising the action, and for his role in the dispute the construction company Abigroup is pursuing 54 criminal charges against him. Abigroup is owned by Lendlease, who have just bought the Heygate Estate. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/420281061382481/
