First Meeting

Hi Everyone,

Im planning to meet sometime within the next couple of weeks. It
seems that it would be best to meet either Mondays or Wed. Im
inclined toward Monday Oct 6th or Wed Oct 8th in order to give time
for interested people to join the group. I would like to talk to all
of you for goals, ideas, and the next steps to make this a usefull
group not only for this year class, but also for classes to come.

Please let me know what day works for all of you and we'll go from
there.

Hi everyone in the RID group,

Rios, can I suggest a lunch meeting, as I think some people may be having Randy's 254 class ( me inlcuded).

 

On a related note, as you all may have heard sometime in the last couple of weeks, Goetz Wolff's classes for this fall will not be happening, mainly due to a funding problem. This is a blow to the program as his classes are amongst the most popular and relevant, not just for RID but to the other concentrations as well.

 

The 2nd years are actively following this up with Brian Taylor and the Dean. They have scheduled a meeting with Brian Taylor, on Thursday at noon. As this is something that will impact us, I think we should be involved and attend the meeting, and understand whats happening with the UC funding cuts etc. Let's talk tomorrow in between classes to see if other 1st years may want to attend this as well. Pass this along to others who may want to be involved.

Hey all,

I know is kind of late and probably some of y;ou will miss this msg,
but I liked the idea of meeting between Liggett's class and Crane's
class to discuss a little about the RID group. I will be in Lauvalle
Commons hope to see some of you there so we can chat a bit about it.
