Hey you all,
Are you interested in learning more about water policy and conservation efforts and tour a water recycling plant? If so, keep reading!
I have been in touch with the West Basin Municipal Water District and they have graciously offered to give us a tour. They operate the Edward Little Water Recycling Plant in El Segundo. At this plant they produce 5 grades of recycled water which they sell to different clients. Their cleanest water variety is so clean that petroleum refiners pay a premium for it over standard tap water. Not only is West Basin a leader in recycled water but also in conservation.
The presentation on water conservation and water policy and the tour of the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Friday, November 6th. Presenting will be Mr. Ron Wildermuth an expert in water conservation policy through his work at West Basin Municipal Water District and in Orange County.
The Facility is located at:
If you need a ride please let me know so I can try to arrange carpools. Anyone is invited!
See you there!
