Dear Members,
Yesterday, the RID group met to discuss the group main goals. I will
sumirize the prioritized tasks.
* Talk to the Dean about future of the concentration, including the
value our group sees in the concentration
-- Liz & Matt will talk to Robin in order to
arange a meeting with the dean.
* Networking - The group needs to network among other organizations on
campus, and maybe expand our contacts in a near future.
-- Liz will talk to Steven Commins (our
advisor) for the posibility of obtaining contacts from his end. We
hope to get in contact with both individuals and organizations that
relate to our concentration.
-- Matt is reaching out for the Burkle Center
on campus
-- Ruby will contact the International
Institute
-- Jacob will contact the Lewis Center
-- Ramiro will contact Professor Leobardo
Estrada & IGSA
NOTE: we still need a "secretary" or someone who could help us taking
notes at meetings and recording important information, as well as
supporting the group's events.
Our next meeting wil be Monday November 24th @ 5:00pm 3rd Floor
Lounge.

Hey RIDers-
Just wanted to let you know that Steve Commins will be stopping by our gathering tomorrow for a short meet and greet. For those that are interested, we may step out for a drink after to discuss development, UCLA, and beyond - please feel free to join!
