What are biotechnology incubators? What is the role of venture
capitalists?
What kinds of opportunities do biotech start-ups provide for
scientists?

Join us as we listen to experts Christian Behrenbruch, Marisa Co, and
Brian Varnum talk about how biotech incubators and venture capitalists
help scientists “grow” their discoveries into marketable ideas

Meet our Panelists:
Christian Behrenbruch is Professor in the Crump Institute for
Molecular Imaging. He is also a member of the Board of Managers of
Momentum Biosciences LLC, a Los Angeles-based “angel” and business
advisory group.

Marisa Co is the President and CEO of Seredigm Corp and a board member
of Medical Care Corporation. Marisa serves as a strategy advisor to
many small biotechnology companies and consulting firms in the US and
Europe.

Brian Varnum is the Chief Scientific Officer at Tarrot, a business
unit of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Brian worked at Amgen for 18
years before joining the Biotechnology Value Fund, a San Francisco-
based venture capital specializing in biotechnology startups in San
Francisco.
