What: Tech Coast Angels (TCA) Morning Meeting and Screening
When: Friday September 5th at 8am
Where: Cafe Roma, UCLA Anderson School of Management
Morning Meeting (8-9am): A great opportunity to meet with the TCA members in a small group setting.
Space is limited to 15 people and
we will be signing you up on a first come first serve basis. The meeting will feature an informal panel of TCA members where you will
have the opportunity to ask questions on entrepreneurship, angel
investing, and venture capital.
Screening (9am-1pm): This is a great opportunity
for students, faculty, researchers, etc. to observe small companies
pitch their ideas to experienced investors (
TCA). Listen to the questions
TCA ask the presenters, and then hear what the
TCA
think about the presentations and investment opportunities. The
sessions consist of four groups of entrepreneurs who are given the
opportunity to pitch their ideas. Each venture's
screening
session consists of a fifteen-minute power point presentation followed
by a fifteen minute Q&A session. After all groups have presented,
the angels adjourn to a members only lunch, where the ventures are
discussed and investor interest is gauged.
Space is limited to 6 people and will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
How: Space is limited, so please email ucla.tca....@gmail.com if you are interested in attending. Please include your affiliation with UCLA (Department, degree pursued).
