The EGSA Technology Entrepreneur Community (TEC) [www.egsatec.com] would like to invite you to an educational seminar featuring Mazen Araabi. This seminar is held in conjunction with Engineering 112 - Entrepreneurship for Engineers. Mazen will be talking about his experiences as an entrepreneur and sharing his insight in the internet start-up sector. He was on the founding team for MySpace, a Principle for First Round Capital, president of EA while at Anderson, and is now working on his next internet start-up!

Short Bio

Mazen was most recently a Principal at First Round Capital. Prior to First Round, Mazen was part of the founding team at MySpace.com. Previously, Mazen and the other MySpace founders had started ResponseBase, an online ad network that was acquired by Intermix Media in 2002. He began his career as one of the earliest employees at Xdrive.com, an online storage company that was acquired by AOL.

Mazen has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he graduated with high honors, and was President of the 500 member Entrepreneur Association.
