This seminar is held in conjunction with Engineering 112 - Entrepreneurship for Engineers. Chris will be talking about his experiences as an entrepreneur and sharing his insight in the Healthcare technology sector. He is the founder or funder of 20 companies and is now the founder of Momentum Bioscienses [www.momentum-biosciences.com] an incubator in Culver City. Meet Chris and learn about from someone who has started successful companies!
Short Bio
Chis Behrenbruch - Momentum Biosciences Dr. Behrenbruch is a Professor in the Department of Medical and Molecular Pharmacology, David Geffen School of Medicine, at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His appointment at UCLA follows a successful track-record in commercializing biotechnology, healthcare IT and medical devices. His laboratory focuses on the technical and clinical challenges of introducing new device, instrumentation and nanotechnology solutions into the healthcare practice. He also teaches in the area of life sciences commercialization and technology transfer.
