Mr. Elie Antoun's Bio:
Elie Antoun is the former President and CEO of Genesis Microchip
(NASDAQ: GNSS), a leading supplier of display image processors in both
the flat-panel TV and LCD monitor markets.Previously, Elie was
President and CEO of Pixim and President and CEO of MediaQ, an EDV
portfolio company that was acquired by nVidia Corp. in 2003. Prior to
MediaQ, Elie spent nine years at LSI Logic Corp. in a variety of
executive management roles. His last position was EVP of the Consumer
Products Division, with overall responsibility for LSI Logic's
PlayStation, DVD, Digital Camera, and Digital Set-Top Box businesses.
He also served for six years at LSI Logic KK in Japan, the last three
of which he was President of LSI Logic KK, where he increased revenue
to $350 million. Earlier in his career, Elie held process engineering
and engineering management positions at Xicor and AMI. He received
BSEE and MSEE degrees from UCLA and an MBA from Stanford University.
