Hi everyone,

So the returning members of Natcar will be posting their knowledge
onto the wikipedia page for everyone to use. We are hoping to have
this done by mid next week.

To new members: Go ahead and read the wiki when its up, I would
recommend starting with the H-bridge first so you can get an
understanding of how motor control by using a pulse-width modulation
works. Returning members will soon post a schedule of our
availabilities, with this we will spend time in the lab as a form of
office hours so that you can come in and play with the equipment.
After reading about the H-bridge you can go ahead and breadboard your
own one, hook it up to a function generator and motor and see if it
works (please do this while we are there supervising, just in case
stuff blows up). We want you to do this at your own comfortable pace,
but in order for you to be ready for integrating with the returning
members in the winter quarter it would be best if you could do this in
two weeks (give or take a week if necessary). We will provide you with
more goals after you complete this first task. Stick with it and you
will see the payoffs later.

If anything else comes up I'll keep you posted.

Paul
