Career Trends in Transportation Planning

Event description:
The goal of this program is to connect current students with
professionals in the field of transportation planning. The panelists
will discuss their career paths, their thoughts on current trends in
the field, and suggestions/advice they have for students regarding how
to best prepare for a career in transportation. The panel will
conclude with an interactive question and answer session. A light
lunch will be provided for the attendees.

Implementation, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation
Authority (Metro); Urban Planning alumnus, UCLA Luskin School of
Public Affairs
John Gahbauer, Transportation Planner, Parsons Brinckerhoff; Public
Policy alumnus, UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs
Rita Robinson, Deputy, Chief Executive Officer, County of Los Angeles;
