The Institute for Clinical and Translational Research  (ICTS) Research Blood Donor Program.

We are seeking healthy adult volunteers willing to donate blood to help physicians and scientists at the University of California, Irvine who need human blood for biomedical research.

Volunteers would donate blood at either of the following locations of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS): UCI Hewitt Hall located in Irvine, Ca or UCI Medical Center located in Orange, Ca. Those who enroll in this study would be contacted one or more times per year to donate blood, which would take approximately 30 minutes of their time.

Are you eligible to participate?

• Between the ages of 18 and 65 years old
• Healthy
• Not using illegal drugs
• Willing to undergo a healthy screening questionnaire

Volunteers, who are found to be eligible following the initial screening, will be paid $10.00 for volumes < 100 ml, or $0.10/ml for volumes > 100ml up to a maximum of 450ml.
