To all my classmates who just graduated, I just wanna say congratulations.  You’ve all worked extremely hard and I’m so proud of you.  I wish I had some inspiring quote to share, but I guess I’d just like to say thank you for all that you’ve done to inspire me over the past 4 years.  You've made me a better person.  I couldn’t have asked for a better group to be associated with.

Hello beautiful class of 2017, 

I also have been wanting to message you guys and thank you for all the memories and lessons we’ve shared the last four years. As I look through the wonderful yearbook Francie and Derek made, I have warm, inspiring memories of all of you. I’m so grateful and proud to have you as colleagues. Neil and I keep you in our prayers that you will all be the kind of doctor you dreamed of being when you started this journey so many years ago. 

We also want to share that our son, Sebastián Javier Sáez was born a week ago on Wed. June 14! Everything went amazingly with the delivery and we could not be more thankful. All the nurses, midwives, and lactation consultants made the whole experience so joyful and prepared us so well to take him home. Though for sure that first night home by ourselves was terrifying! For those who are still in Irvine, can’t wait for you to meet him if you see him around the hospital :) 

Thinking of you all as you start your residencies!
