1) I have mentioned in detail regarding the fee structure on the
thread - IS Course duration
Pls go thru it and let me know if I missed any part.
Fees for each quarter if you are taking 16 credits (which all
International students usually take comes to $8000 (including tuition
and other fees + insurance) Plus in few qtrs you need to take few
extra credits beyond 18 to cover the total 72 credit course
requirement for MS-IS where you pay per credit fee beyond 18
credit...Also if you are on Coop you pay $400 somthing as Coop fee per
qtr
So taking all that into consideration you pay - $8000 X 4 = $ 32000 +
$4000 (extra credits + coop fees) = $36000
2) Of batch of 24 Internationals in 2007
In March 2009 - 8 applied for graduation - all got full time jobs
Rest are suppose to apply for graduation in June 2009 - Folks have
been attending interviews .. I haven't heard of any good news until
now thou
To be honest... folks have taken up any jobs which they could land up
with... I do not want to send wrong signals but going is tough right
now because of all reason we all are aware of.. So having a fixation
for a particular profile will not work in this market... right now
getting a job is priority and flexibility is important... technical
and work exp surely will help in all ways.
3) Coop scene is not that well at this time of the year....with just
one month left for Spring qtr to end..
I understand few folks are placed for Coop of 30 internationals -
Of what I am aware of, folks have been placed in GAIC, SAP IT,
Monsanto and others ..approx number is 10 or something ... Folks are
still giving interviews at companies to hope to see increase in the
number
