Tautologic at Gunther Murphy's March 12

Greetings from Tautologic-land, or is that "Tautologia"?

March 12 at 9:30pm, Tautologic will perform a customarily sterling set at
Gunther Murphy's, opening for Blue Plate. Admission is $4, and it is a
21-and-up show. Gunther Murphy's is located at 1638 W Belmont Ave. For

By all accounts, Tautologic's last gig at the Flow was a well-attended
success, and we expect that this show should be even better, as we have
worked up some new material for this set and even improved on some old
favorites. Bring a passle* of friends, throw back a few beers, and have a
good time with us. Ask for us by name at the door.

In other news, Kristen Davis (viola) has left to concentrate on her
studies at the University of Chicago. We wish her the best of luck and
thank her for her fine performances both on-stage and on 4 songs of our
upcoming full-length CD release, which we are in the process of recording.

However, for those of you starved for viola-endowed music, you can rest
assured that the viola seat in Tautologic will be capably filled by the
multi-talented Jennifer Justice, who plays viola, piano, and sings.
Jennifer is a native Illinoise currently majoring in viola at DePaul
University.
