Greetings,
I'd like for the Algorithms & Theory Group to go ahead and meet this
Friday just to debrief about how the semester went, what we might want
to change for next year, Summer plans, etc. I know we are in the
midst of finals and that many of you may be studying, so I promise it
will not be an intense meetings.
Our normal meeting time and location is 2p in HEC 118. The shuttle is
scheduled to launch just prior to that time, and since the launch time
may slip, I'd like to be a bit flexible about the start time to
account for this.
I'm willing to order some pizza for the event, though I don't have the
resources to pay for dozens of people ... so while I hope that most of
you will come, please be forewarned that the feeding may be austere.
If you *do* plan to come, please let me know so I can get a rough
headcount prior to Friday.
Also, for your amusement, a friend recently posted the following
link. It's a proof of the undecidability of the halting problem
written as a Dr. Seuss-like poem.
