Reunion photo albums now are in Google+ account

Hi all,

As you know, we have stored our profile and reunion photos at shutterfly.com (logon ucdvs...@gmail.com, password ucdvsa1234) for many years now. We uploaded reunion photos to shutterfly.com for a couple of years, but after that most pictures are uploaded to Google Picasaweb which now becomes part of Google Plus. These pictures are shared to our group, and we access them via the links from shared emails. This non-centralized way makes it hard to access to all shared pictures.

I've created a Google+ account for user ucdvs...@gmail.com and so now we can access all those shared pictures (from Tri Duong, Kevin Trung, Tuan coi, myself etc.) just by logging into one single account, see simple instructions below.

1. Log on to plus.google.com web site using the same user name and password as our shutterfly account (user name: ucdvs...@gmail.com, password: ucdvsa1234)

2. Click on "Friends" then select a member who have shared photos (Tri, Trung, Tuan, myself etc.)

3. Click on "Photos" to access shared albums

Photos from shutterfly.com are untouched and you can access them the same way as before. One big negative thing about shutterfly.com is they don't let you download full-size images. You must pay to get full-size image DVDs.

In the future when we share our photos with the group, we will upload them to our individual Google Plus accounts (please upload full-size images), then share them with ucd...@googlegroups.com as before. Members can still access photos via the sent links. All photo albums then will be available from one single Google+ account (ucdvs...@gmail.com/ucdvsa1234). This means NO changes to the way our photographers Tri, Trung, Tuan, myself etc. have uploaded and shared pictures with the group in the past 3 years.

In summary:

1. Access to shutterfly.com photo site remains the same (user name: ucdvs...@gmail.com, password: ucdvsa1234)

2. From now on, we'll upload group photos to our individual Google+ accounts, and share with ucd...@googlegroups.com.

3. To access shared centralized Google+ albums, we log on to plus.google.com using the same account as shutterfly (see # 1). Try it and you'll be pleasantly surprised to see albums Tri, Trung, Tuan and myself have uploaded over the last few years. In addition, you can view members' interesting postings.

The next logical step is everyone connects to one another via this gmail photo account ucdvsaguest, creating a big UCD Viet Alumni circle; easy way to stay in touch, share photos, news and communicate. If you haven't activated your Google Plus account, please consider doing so soon. I'll wait a bit then try to add all registered members to ucdvsaguest account (I'll create a new UCD Alumni circle) . If you'd rather not being added to the circle, please let me know.

There are a few photo albums that need attention from owners to conform to Google Plus access recommendation:

1. Tuan Coi shared 2 albums, but only one is visible to user ucdvsaguest. Tuan, please reshare this album to ucd...@googlegroups.com (Note: I can access this album from my personal G+ account)

Sorry for being police, but we definitely don't want to lose control of our valuable photo collection.

Dat, our photographers don't need to upload their photos again. Some albums just need to be re-shared. In the future they will upload photos to their Google+ accounts and just make sure it's shared to UCD circle, no emails needed, no links to remember. Members can view albums online and only download selected ones, there's no way to "download all" yet.
