Visiting Lưu Hồng Loan

On Sunday Minh Phạm and I visited Lưu Hồng Loan in San Jose. Last time I saw Loan was more than 20 years ago!
Our visit was filled with laughter and nostalgia as we tried to relive our innocent and distant youth! Loan still looks a graceful as ever.

Hi anh Thanh,

Thank you for sharing the pictures of your visiting Davis and Alumni members. 

I've always been curious about Chi Loan and Chieu, especially C Loan because of her mysterious and quiet beauty. (My comment should not be in anyway construed my perception of Chieu...;-)

Just as I've regretted not having the chance to know C Loan, I've often wondered how many opportunities I've missed in knowing more about many of the VSA members while I was at Davis. Time flies. In the pictures that you sent, above the left corner, there's a half cropped Buddha's countenance. He looks serenely unchanging. But me, the on looker, after more than 30 years of many reincarnations, I still feel growing up is elusive. Meanwhile, growing old is inevitable.
