Here are the photos that I took at last Sunday reunion. I tried to send from Google+ last night, but apparently it did not work, please let me know if you can't view the photos

Ok, let's try this one more time. I think the last time, the album visibility was set to "private", I reset it to "public". If this still does not work, blame it on those dumb SW engineers from Google.

Thanh, I noticed Tuan and Mai Kha's emails are not yet added to group's email. I believe the reason was they never responded to the invitation to join group, could we just add them anyway. Also Ha's email bounced back (is this why they did not get party info?). Tri or someone could you please notify Ha to get her new email address. One more thing, some emails I sent out went to spam folders, could everyone make sure set "not spam". Also each couple should register two emails instead of one, so that in case emails go to spam folder of one, the other one still gets it.

Hello everyone, this is Phiet writing from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Would you believe it but I recognize everyone in the pictures except perhaps anh Hon's wife whom I have never had a chance to meet? What is also amazing is Anh Tuan Mai's appearance doesn't change one bit from the last time I saw him almost thirty years ago.
Going out to the world in the post-Davis stage was like being dunked into a pool of nuoc mam. There are all kinds of characters in that bigger world, smelly people, idiots, backstabbers, jerks, albeit a real world already restricted to people who actually try to compete against you, not quite like us where the commonality is to be true friends who grew up together. I always feel that there is a wisdom of this group, and a sense that me too, I am part of this, I am sharing these values and principles, I belong there.
It's nice to see all of you doing well and making this get-together an annual thing in the summer. If you all could keep it as such, I may be able to make plan to attend next year.

Indeed ( this reminds me of Dr. Cu O^ng's famous phrase " A friend in need is a friend in di't" ), it's nice to see our friendship coalesces again on this forum. We are thankful for Mai Anh for igniting the reunion spirit and anh Hon for grabbing the "Reunion Torch" to plan for the past few events.

As a heads up, a dinner karaoke night Saturday on Sep 15 at Khai's house is being planned, detail to be released next week if this is a go. Phiet, would you join us over Skype :-). Tuan (Ngo), Hanh and Tri, bring your guitars? I have plenty of music sheets and lyrics.

Spoke with Khai and he agreed to move the date to Saturday September 8 (one week earlier) @ 6:30 PM.
Hanh, no singing talent is required. If you don't want to sing, or feel rusty, no need to worry. This is mainly a chance to get together and chat, and have some good foods.

It is too soon after our last get together. We parents have so many things going because high school just started a couple of weeks ago, and college has not started yet. Let's get together at a later date, maybe even in Nov before the holidays.
