Subject: WWII Veteran

World War II Veteran and survivor of the Bataan Death March will speak at
the upcoming general meeting for Mga Kapatid. He will speak on his life
as a POW and how he was one of the 4000 American soldiers out of over
100,000 to survive the ordeal. He will also touch upon the Veterans Equiy
Act which is fighting for the rights for many Filipino American soldiers
who have not been given reparations and the respect they were promised
over 50 years ago.

Wednesday, November 4, 1998
Doors open at 6:15pm, and the meeting will promptly start at 6:30.
