Just a quick announcement..
"hey Yo!!!"
As you probably heard by now, FILAH.. We're taking a little survey. It's
real easy, we just wanna see if you're with us.. or with us. hehe
As started through FilCRO, a Filipino Lecture Series will be held again
this upcoming winter quarter FOR 2 UNITS under the Anthro Department (ANT
198).
Hopefully, you will all enroll in this class. We need more help from the
community though, which trancends just enrolling in it. We would like to
hear from you, get advice, and or suggestions on what topics you would
like to be discussed for each week's lecture. Remember, it doesn't have
to be given by a Filipino, but it should relate affect the Filipino
AMerican communtiy.
Some things that have been tossed in the air are:
Family Issues
Cultural Gap
Artist Workshop
Follow Your Dreams, Not Just the Money
etc..
Please tell us what you want, and it will be easier to present to you, the
ones who we want to educate, the right information so that you come out of
this class with more than just units and a superficial encounter of
Filipino issues.
You can email me back or call me. You can also email Chrissie Sosa at
chris...@hotmail.com
Thank you!!!
