I have an Excel 4 file that I am trying to open on an NT 4 system with
Excel 97. The document is heavily formatted (fonts, shading, sizes, etc)
and 1 page in size. NT 4 with service pack 4 & excel97 (sr-1) opens this
file, but it increases the document width by 40% so it is too wide to fit
on the page. Uninstalling SP4 will allow the file to open normally.
I've tried service pack 3 with important hot fixes, but it also increases
the excel file width by 20%. I can shrink this page to fit back onto 1
page, but I get a bunch of white space at the bottom which is
undesireable. I have also tried installing SR-2 for Office97 on top of
SP3/SP4, but this has no effect on my page size in excel. Any ideas on
how to solve this, because I need to have the latest bugfixes...
