Job Description
Review, prioritize, and assign work orders received from automated
computing help desk system. Assist with computer equipment installation
(from scratch) and surplus equipment salvaging operations. Perform
preventive maintenance on printers, classroom audio/visual equipment,
and computing lab equipment. Provide remedial computing support to
computer users.
Job Requirements
Customer service skills, including ability to follow through on
customer
requests, answer questions, and research computing problems. Experience
with installing and configuring Windows Vista and computing
applications. Familiarity with audio/visual equipment, including
DVD/VHS
player, video projectors. Proficient in use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job Purpose
Assist computing support help desk operations.
