Supervision
While input will be sought from all staff in regards to their particular
programs, the intern will answer directly to the Director of Membership
Development.
Job Description
The łWeb Design Intern˛ will be asked to spend an initial forty hours
helping to redesign the current events, membership, safety and legislative
pages. This will include adding links, posting flyers and designing the
aesthetics of the site. Upon completion and final approval of staff (ED &
EVP), the new design will be posted to the Sacramento Buildersą Exchange
website.
Once the initial design phase is complete, the Web Design Intern will be
asked to work between twelve and fifteen hours a week maintaining,
monitoring, and updating site content. The goal is to create and maintain a
current, professional and appropriate site.
As an ongoing project, the website intern will be asked to create a
PowerPoint presentation to be posted on the website and shown at SBE events.
This presentation will act both as a łvirtual tour˛ for potential members
and as a self-promotion at events.
