POSITION: INTERNSHIP (10 – 12 WEEKS, FULLTIME – start date flexible)
COMPANY: Genentech, Inc.
LOCATION: SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA
COMPENSATION: COMPETITIVE (interns receive a competitive hourly rate,

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
Develop Flex-based user interface for quantitative proteomics data. The
candidate will interact with research scientist to design and implement
interactive graphical interface for data exploration and analysis.


Requirements:
Data-driven web-based Flex application development experience is
required. Fluency in the following programming languages is desirable:
Java, Perl and PHP. Understanding and interest in Biology and
Proteomics
is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication skills are
essential to succeed in this project. Undergraduate and graduate
students encouraged to apply.
