Job Description
You will participate in variety of software projects using current
software development methodologies and technologies. You will
participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
including design, development, documentation and testing. You will be
responsible for writing code per requirements and specifications,
documentation of produced code, performing unit testing, and writing
and
executing test plans.
Job Requirements
We are looking for individuals with good interpersonal and
communications skills, who are willing and able to learn new
technologies, methodologies, and information quickly. You must be able
to work, research technologies, and learn independently. Programming
skills in Java is required. Good understanding of relational database
and design, with general knowledge of SQL is preferred. Knowledge of
HTML, CSS, and web industry trends is required. Preference will be
given
to students majoring in Computer Science.
Job Purpose
This position is part of Safety Services IT Team, a software
development
group within the Safety Services department. This position offers a
unique opportunity to gain valuable experience based on industry best
practices, and enhance your software development skills.
