ABOUT SYNECTICS
Synectics is the environmental industry’s leading data management
service provider, with offices located in Sacramento. We have been
providing web-based data solutions to our clients, primarily
organizations within the Federal government sector, since 1994, and are
currently hiring motivated individuals to support recent contracts
awarded to our firm. Upon successful completion of their academic
course of study, interns have the possibility of becoming permanent,
full-time employees with full benefits.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following activities will be performed under the supervision of a
senior programmer and/or system architect:

• Refactoring of existing applications to current version of VS.NET
• Maintenance of documentation and online help
• Testing and benchmarking of pre-release and production applications
• Implementation of graphical design elements into existing applications

QUALIFICATIONS
• Major in Computer Science or related discipline with Junior standing
or higher
• 3.0 GPA and instructor references upon request
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (ASP.NET, C#.NET or VB.NET)
• Experience with relational databases, MS SQL Server preferred

SCHEDULE PAY RATE WORK LOCATION
Approximately 24 hours a week $12.00-16.00/hr: DOE 2515 Venture Oaks

WHO CAN APPLY
Applicants must be currently enrolled and attending an accredited
college or university with Junior standing or higher and must maintain
a
minimum of 6 semester units (or quarter equivalent) and an overall GPA

* Successful interns may have the option of becoming regular, permanent
employees. Permanent employees who work more than 32 hours per week are
