It looks like there is a pretty clear pattern for the Band-tailed Pigeons coming to my feeders, so if you'd like to drop by to see them, here's the best way to do that:

They come to the feeders mainly between 8 AM and 1 PM  -- (the seed runs out in the early afternoon, these days).  It's good to park across the street and not startle them -- they're very skittish and will usually all fly away at the same time.  They spend a lot of time in the large trees in the area, especially the large Honey Locus tree near the feeders, so if they're not at the feeders check out the trees.

Attached is a photo of the recently upgraded main feeder.   I hope they show up at the right time so you can see these visitors from the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico.
