This obviously only applies to students.  It would be good to have people with bike interests on the committee.

This is a reminder that applications for those interested in serving on the Student Sustainability Committee are due tomorrow Friday, March 2 at midnight. If there is anyone that you would specifically like to recommend, please send me their name and NetID. The Student Senate is now allowing recommendations for appointed committees. The Student Sustainability Committee awards over $1M annually to promote sustainability on campus.  It  is the founding financial force behind the Campus Bike Project and remains a large contributor to this effort.  For more information see:   http://ssc.union.illinois.edu/

This might draw more interest if you followed up with mention of how much money the SCC awards each year in sustainability projects and the many worthwhile projects it has already funded.

The SSC has been a major player in sustainability efforts at U of I.
