I'm in and free anytime Saturday -- but, I would prefer a beer at the
halfway point and then again at the end... or maybe some chili at the
halfway point and a beer at the end... or... well, at least beer at the
end. I'll leave the planning up to you as long as you plan on some beer

Forecast is mid  50s, south winds 10 to 15 with gusts around 25 mph. Hm, maybe I'll take the train to Mattoon and meet you all in Villa Grove!

Ice cream in Sydney and beer in Pesotum?  If we meet at 1:30 and roll out as soon as possible, that gives us about 3 1/2 hours.  That's a 40ish mile ride.  We can swing that, right??

Now that I'm home and not collecting frequent flier miles, I've look at my schedule and realized that I have 1-5 pm commitments Saturday afternoon. Looks like you have a great ride planned but you'll have to go without me again, sorry to miss this. I'll run or ride on my own Saturday morning. If the rain doesn't materialize, the usual Sunday morning ride?

The forecast for Sunday morning is now looking quite good: mostly sunny with 9am temp of 49F and noon temp of 55F. 70% of precip in the afternoon.

I prefer Sunday morning to Saturday afternoon. I know that Michael can't ride Saturday afternoon and Carl is also busy Saturday afternoon. So I'm leaning toward Sunday morning now if some others will read then, too.

Remember move clocks ahead Saturday night. So Sunday at 9am will feel like 8am (but that's OK).

Regardless what folks do on Saturday afternoon, I'll be riding Sunday
morning ...the usual drill with coffee at 8:45. If folks are up for it,
we could try for Flessor's in Tuscola. If folks need breakfast because
of the time change (really? already?), we could just go to the reopened
place in Sadorus and then ride on for chili for those really wanting a
"full" morning of riding.

Like I said, we could break it up into 2 pieces with a stop in Sadorus
and then one group could return while those wanting a longer ride could
go on to Tuscola for lunch. I'm probably going to need to get back on
the early side myself as I need to get some gardening started before it
rains.

How about moving the start time up to 8am?  The temperature is predicted at 36F by 7 am, so it will at least be that warm by 8am.  We could do more miles, eat, and be back by 12:30-1pm.
