Labor Day weekend rides

Folks,

For those interested in some sort of annual Indiana Labor Day ride, the announcement below from Rob Grider/Danville Derailleurs (for more details and closer to the date, please see their Facebook page).

By request, there will be a Saturday version this year and likely a Monday ride as well (weather permitting). I've already gone over and done the 50 and 65 mile versions recently but I have another ride that starts in Attica (or Cicott Park) that I will post as well as a Covington to Cayuga and back route as well. Personally, I'm thinking of doing one on Saturday and another on Monday.

One thought I've had is for one or several of us to start from Cicott Park leaving a large cooler and water for those coming from Covington. The River Road from the bridge near Cicott Park back to Attica has been repaved and there is now a spot for crossing the RR tracks safely as you come into Attica on that south side.

Rain date, Monday, Sept 2nd

Starting point will be Covington, Indiana central park

There is no cost for this ride as there is no SAG support nor SAG stops, although we do have a lunch stop in Attica, IN and if riding the longest route, an additional stop will be in Veedersburg, IN.

( I will add that if riding on Monday, many places are closed but there is a County Market and a McDonalds and a couple of gas stations in Attica as well as a Casey's' or similar in Veedersburg)
