I faced a similar situation as you, in MCb 100, but I decided to stick
with it. Basically, for MCB 102 and 100, the most important thing you
can do is transcribe, transcribe, transcribe. Form a
transcription/study group of 4-5 people. The problem with huge
transcription groups is that you don't do them often. Transcription is
a very good method of studying. Another thing to do is to rewrite your
notes after each lecture, taking what was in the transcription, plus
your lecture notes. I got a mid "B" in MCB 100 -- even after a lot of
struggle. In MCB 130 that's exactly what I am doing, and I am in the A
to A+ range.

Good luck,

Rahul

Hi all,

Does anyone know which book will be used for MCB 130 next semester by Gerhart?
Is it Molecular Biology of THE CELL by Albatross, Bray....? Thanks a lot!
