1. Microcom AX/2400c 2400 + MNP5, external. For those who don't know,
Microcom is the father of MNP. Hayes compatible + proprietary commands.
Asyncronous / synchronous, IP support, and other obscure features.
I have never had troubles with this modem. $60 or b/o. Comes with docs.
2. Same, a dead one. Supposedly bad clock crystal or surrounding circuitry.
$10 or b/o.
3. Practical Peripherals 2400FX96SA, 2400 + 9600 2-way fax. New. Comes with
docs and QuickLink II fax software (foreground send, background receive,
unattended receive with automatic printing). External. Unregistered
warranty. $65 or b/o.
4. Internal (PC) generic 1200 baud. Small card (about 5" long). $10 or b/o.
Will trade all of the above for a 9600 baud or better modem with
send/receive fax capability, external or board with serial interface,
may be in bad external shape if functionally sound.
