SAP and multicast multimedia conference announcement

Hi,
The SDP(Session Description Protocol) is used for
multicast annoncements for multimedia sessions.
The client announces a conference session by
periodically multicasting an announcement packet
using the Session Announcement Protocol(SAP).

But, what is the time interval for making these
periodic announcements ? Is there any document
or standard that conveys the interval ? Any ideas ?
