Figure Of Merit

Im confused, so whats a good figure of merit? a small one? so small
clock period and small supply currents?

Just to verify , total supply current means- the currents summed up
going thru all the branches attached to top rail- so smaller the
better?


how will the 20% be graded on this FOM? is it hit or miss? all 20 or
nothing?

I thought a larger FOM is better, since that implies that your
sampling period is smaller (can handle smaller frequencies when acting
like an ADC) and it takes less energy (smaller Idd) using the equation
FOM = 1 / (T * Idd). Not sure though.
