Tomorrow April 17 Volunteer Event!! 9am at the Marina

Hey guys, 

Just as a reminder,
we're planning to pull ice plant tomorrow as part of a Friends of Five
Creeks event. It should be a lot fun and definitely a picture opportunity
for our scant CNR wall/future scrapbooks. We'll be walking around with a
group of Bat/Bar Mitzah candidates (aka 13 year old kids) and the emphasis
is more on engaging them in nature than actually getting a huge amount of
stuff done.  

Now for the logistics: we are going to try and meet at the
bus stop for the 51B on SHATTUCK AND CENTER AT 9. It's right next to the
Bank of America. If you're driving or using some other form of
transportation, we're supposed to meet at Shorebird Park (160 University
Ave) at 10. Be sure to dress warmly since it can get cold out on the
Marina, as well as in clothes that you can get dirty. Also avoid things you
need to carry in your hands (stick to backpacks, shoulder bags, not
purses.) Friends of Five Creeks will provide tools and snacks.
