In short, we are working on applying for up to $5000 to work on something related to urban gardens in the area... either:
a. Est. an edible garden in a hospital in Oakland and an education program
b. Working with an existing non-profit to est. a garden and educational program at a school
c. Working with an existing non-profit to est. a garden in a neighborhood
d. Using the funding to amp up an existing garden and est. an educational program

The initial work will involve bringing ideas on organizations to partner with, contacting organizations, and being really really on top of it because we need to get this done quick!


Here's the link to the grant forum where I wanted people to put up their grant ideas. Nobody has yet, but if you want to add things to the idea we've decided on, you're welcome to. We may end up using the google doc for more planning, so save it!
