Dear ucasting alliance members,

I am gauging if there is interest in doing another microcast- I must
say that even though we only put out 4, all these old episodes continue
to get very high download numbers from our server.

Let me know if you are up to contributing to installment #5 of the
microcasting alliance.

Happy Podcasting!

Adam,

I would like to leave a decision on a topic open for now until I see how many 'casters  are interested- but feel free to toss out ideas!

I thought it was a lot of fun, and would like to see it happen again.

I think we were just beginning to explore the potential of it when it died
out. I'd like to see where it could go, and just how good it could be in,
say, a year or so.

It would also be cool if we could do things enough ahead of time so we could
play off of each others stuff. In other words, we'd upload our first draft,
listen to each others, then re-do our bits (if necessary) to include, agree
with, disagree with or play off of each other.

Cool- Seems there's enough interest then.

Let's choose one of these topics:

1.) Elections  (It's an election year after all)
2.) Music (wide topic- radio/poular/taste/future/distribution/copyright)
3.) Tequila! (what more do I have to say)
4.) TV (another very broad topic)
5.) >your topic suggestion(s) here<

Look forward to hearing your choice/ideas.

Carl

BTW- If everyone is cool with it, I can set up a web page linking all the files for the episode and give you'all a week or whatever to listen to them if you want and then tweek yours before the final release.  A "round robin" type thing might work too.

How about the topic of taking something old and making it new again (like we are doing with this idea).

eric

p.s.

I think there should be a one minute max per submission.  with leniency if your close.

We have a quorum!

Official topic of MAP 005 is:

"Making something new from something old", or to that effect.

First ones to post their segments are the ones others can/could round-robin off.

I like that idea.  (keeping it to one minute or so.)  It will make the whole thing more pithy.
