Notes on UC Logic and FOM group

Dear all,

From our organizational meeting this past Friday, the following has
been determined.

First, the best available time for everyone is 12 to 1pm on Wednesdays
and Fridays, and we will meet in 807 Old Chem (a math seminar room).

Second, I will be giving a presentation on Finite Model Theory this
Friday. It will be a brief overview of the field, including some of the
major results and its applications.

Next week, Xizhong Zheng will be giving a presentation on some of
his research.

After that, we are open to anyone willing to present. If you are interested,
please send an announcement to the list or simply come to the next
meeting.

Just Friday. I'm otherwise engaged this week (and only this week)
on Wednesday at that time.
