FOM Schedule, Email Problems, and Call for Presentations

MEETINGS FOR WINTER QUARTER
Regular weekly meetings will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, from
3:30 to 4:30 in 807 Old Chem (the same room as last year). As usual,
meetings will only take place when someone is presenting, which will
be announced both here and on the website.
As some people are still working their schedules out for this quarter,
we will NOT meet this week. The first meeting for FOM will be held
next Wednesday, 16 January, starting at 3:30 in the usual room 807 Old
Chem. Tamisra Sanyal will continue his presentation on temporal
logics.
REGARDING THE EMAIL PROBLEMS FOR "@uc.edu" ADDRESSES
The email problems we were experiencing have been figured out. All
"@uc.edu" email addresses are aliases to a user's "real" email address
(usually "@email.uc.edu" or "@ucmail.uc.edu"). When registering for a
mailing list with Google, an alias must not be used (it would be too
easy to setup a spam list if Google allowed this). As such, if you
have a "@uc.edu" address, please subscribe to the mailing list using
your other account.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
If you are interested in presenting this quarter, let the list know
ASAP! Anything related to logic or foundational mathematics (theory
or applied) is welcomed.
