text is too big. cant see what i'm typing. gotta hit <enter> like 7-8
times before i see what i typed... any ideas?

Well lets see here i found something on an ubuntu forum about vga=791
for 1024x768
also vga=788 for 800x600
cant just do it in tty, gotta restart and go to the boot loader menu
append to the kernal line
