new to the group

Hi, I have given myself the nickname newbie.  I need help.  I want to rid my iBook clamshell (PowerPC) of OS9 and go Linex.  I need foolproof step by steps.  I need to download to a different computer and swap files via memory stick.  I have looked at gOS but having install issues.

 

Can anyone guide me through?

Hi Rob

I've never installed it on PowerPC... I know it exists though. It
probably works the same way as the PC version where you can insert the
CD and boot / run off CD to fully test all the hardware works [ likely
will ] before installing it.
