Hi all,
does anyone have a method of accessing pictures on a
Samsung phone Model SGH-A411. This phone does not have
a micro sd card, or anywhere where one could be installed.
This is a friends phone, and he has been unable to access it via
XP Vista, or win7, so has come to me as a last resort in the hope that
Ubuntu may do the job.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
Take care
Winton

Odd that it couldn't be accessed via WIN ... anyway, you could try pluging it
into usb and see if it comes up as a disk drive.

When you say he has been unable to access it from Win, do you mean
there is no way to do it, or it should work but does not? If the
latter then it, or the cable if connected by cable, may be broken.

Hi,
it should work but doesn't. been checking and it seems there are
quite a few people that are having the same problem with this phone
with windows. I have downloaded the latest drivers for it and installed them
on his machines, win7 and xp and won't work. I am indoctrinating him into
the joys of Ubuntu, and had hoped that someone may have a solution, a big
boost for Ubuntu.
Thanks
Winton
