AMD E-350 APU

Hello eveybody, i`m running ubuntu 11.10 64 bit with the latest updates
on an AMD E-350 notebook, with the VISION engine, someone know how to
extract more juice out of those kinds of machines to achieve higher
performance under ubuntu ? I`m asking that because i get much higher
performance under windows with the same machine. If somebody can help me
i would appreciate a lot.

You need to make sure that your video drivers are properly installed.
That is the usual suspect. Running glxgears will indicate if you have
OpenGL functioning correctly or not. That makes a TON of difference.
