Job Description:		Client is in need of two Java developers to augment their team. In 2015, a new group is spinning off from Client- these contractors will support . There are several initiatives going on simultaneously. This team supports the Navigates application 100%. Navigates is the application used for the commercial pipeline. It controls everything from agreements, orders, tracking, accounting and billing. Client hired a company to create the application about 6 years ago and then brought it in house last year. They typically do 4 releases per year with new business functionality and additional services. This will be about 50% of what these contractors will be responsible for. They are also in the middle of a Weblogic to Websphere migration. They have done the initial migration but it has not been tested yet. They are anticipating many changes that need to be made in about 3-4 months when testing is complete. These candidates will be pulled over to this team once the testing is complete to mitigate any issues that arise. They have a backlog of several years of new functionality that need to be added to Navigates, so this is an ongoing contract. Would like to find senior level people who can hit the ground running and make a quick impact. The entire Navigates team is about 30 people. All of development sits in Charleston, QA sits in Houston. From a technical perspective, their environment is: J2EE, Java 7, Java Swing, EJB, Eclipse, SQL database environment.

Job Description:		This developer will be working on the new applications team supporting various customers. This team develops applications used by clients for various purposes. One of the biggest projects is for Boeing (customer of client). This is an application used to track parts, order new parts, take inventory, etc. It is used by Boeing working in the warehouse as well as Client’s planning teams who are forecasting. This team also does some mobile app development so that warehosue workers can order parts from their phones. Some Android and some iOS. This team does a mix of new development and maintenance and enhancements. Most of these applications reside on a central platform and they are then customized depending on customer needs. This team is moving to an Agile/Scrum methodology so experience in that environment would be helpful. Should be a team player and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The workload is driven by client demand so it has spikes with tight deadlines. This candidate should be willing to shift quickly from one project to another and collaborate to solve business problems for existing and new customers. Technical environment is: Java, J2EE, Spring, Tomcat Servers, Linux Servers, Oracle databases with PL/SQL development, Restful Web Services, HTML/Ajax for front end. Breakdown: 60% new development, 20% maintenance/enhancements, 20% analysis

Job Description:		JAVA software development experience and will be responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of programming applications based on submitted requests. As a member of the Web Development (Internet) team, this person will work with technical staff, users, and management to design applications and solve business-related problems. He/she will be expected to quickly ramp up on the design and code of existing application and provide support as required.
