Dear All,

I am pleased inform that the new locale "ta_LK"  locale is included in glibc,
glibc is the base library which allows us to use the translations on an installed system.

This is a technical requirement for any Linux-based distribution.

I have created the ta-LK file for this purpose. I am happy to give you more details on this, provided if you are interested.
I got the confirmation of this registration only yesterday. it was pending for 3 weeks.

In fact, i went through the contents of ta_IN ( INDIAN version ) to get an idea.

The following is the text , I received from Mr Andreas Jaeger ( A Germen Technical Specialist )

This is the link which will show my application and response

** Please note that this is another technical requirement for ta_LK to move forward.
