List this forum as a way to get in touch

On http://ubos.net/community/ it lists ways to get in touch, but doesn't mention this forum. I think it would be better for potential users (and developers) like myself to engage with the project if we could find this forum. Do you agree?

The link used to be there, but then, nobody seemed to want to use the group. So I took it off redirecting people to IRC where more of the traffic ended up. Maybe I should actually point to this list from the IRC message ...

What I’d really like to see is a forum, but I’d really want the forum app to run on UBOS, and first somebody would have to package it up. Volunteers? ;-)

It's great to *have* the IRC option. It would be even better if it were archived and integrated with the forum and so on.

Yes, that would be nice, Yes, and also it would be nice if the Git repo was on UBOS rather than Github, and if the microblogging was running on an open system on UBOS not on Twitter, and if the IRC interface was running on UBOS. All these things may be possible, eventually.

First, let's help build the community, by helping people find this forum!

Would Mattermost be suitable? It also supports IRC bridging via Matterbridge.

There is also riot.im (based on matrix.org) if you want to look into that. It also has a bridge with IRC. It has a mobile client (also available on fdroid) and tracks history.
