Hey everyone,
I just got this e-mail from Marshall saying he cannot have the Guild meeting at his house tonight, so the meeting will be in Room 12 where it normally is. Also forwarded here is an e-mail from Alissa about the photobooth fundraiser next Monday. There are still spots available to sign up to work the table, so please do so if you have free time next Monday, October 31. Scroll down for more information about the fundraiser. Neither Alissa, Marshall, nor myself will be able to make the meeting today. As far as other things go, I have a few announcements about our upcoming events:

* Barring another power outage, the showing of Forgotten City is happening at Burning Books this Wednesday, October 26 at 7 pm. Burning Books is at 420 Connecticut Street on the corner of Connecticut and 15th.
* Our Landlord-Tenant Know Your Rights Clinic is this Saturday, October 29 at 1 pm. The clinic will be held at the Grant Street Neighborhood Center at 271 Grant Street. Please come down and tell anyone that rents an apartment to as well!
* We are up a Legal Observer Training with the city chapter in the next two weeks. E-mail Rob at rcgal...@gmail.com if you want to be involved in planning this.
* We apparently had several Guild fliers that had to be removed from the first floor of O'Brian last week (which event?). Thanks to all those that hung fliers (I assume it was for the movie that got postponed) but please remember that we aren't allowed to flier the first floor any more and that we need remove them 2 days after the event

Rob, bad news I can't have the meeting today at my house. Way too much to do tonight all of a sudden. If you can, send an email about this? Im thinking meeting every other week might be a good idea.

Hope you had a good weekend! I am writing to tell you that I can't make it to tonight's meeting. However, I am hoping you'll pass along the following details:
 
* Halloween photo booth & cider stand is a go. We can not sell any donuts or baked goods, though, because another group is doing a baked sale that day. I've gotten the event approved and secured a table in o'Brian lobby. Aaron Saykin is supposed to put the event on SIP. I'm going to create a Facebook event today or tomorrow for it. SHIFTS FOR THE BOOTH ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Please sign up on googledocs. How the photo booth is going to work, for those people who didn't hear me explain it: People can use our props and we will take a pic of them and will post all pics on facebook site. They can download pic from facebook. (In the event someone doesn't have facebook, we can get their name, email address, and note which photo it is somehow (by description, by photo #, etc.) and we'll email it to 'em.) * Amy Atkinson (events coordinator) told me she removed several Guild fliers from the 1st floor of O'Brian last week. #1 she said that if we post fliers we need to remove them within 2 days of event; #2 she said that we are not allowed to post fliers on the first floor of O'Brian.
